The Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) is a non-governmental regional metrology organization. It was established in 1980 with no fixed headquarters. Its mission is to promote the development of measurement science and technologies of economies within the Asia Pacific region, establish the international equivalence of national measurement standards and the mutual recognition of Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs) of member economies under the CIPM MRA, and underpin regional economic development.
