Recently, Bai Qingyuan, Vice Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation(SAMR), led a delegation to Colombia to attend the 11th OIML-CS Management Committee Meeting, and visited the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Colombia (SIC).

     The delegation met with Bobjoseph Mathew, President of the International Committee on Legal Metrology, introducing China's latest progress in the field of metrology and expressing willingness to further strengthen practical cooperation with the International Organization of Legal Metrology (OIML) and actively participate in the activities of OIML, and support OIML in playing a greater role. President Bobjoseph Mathew thanked China for its contributions to the OIML and welcomed China's deeper participation in OIML activities.

     Bai Qingyuan also met with Cielo Elainne Rusinque Urrego, the Director of SIC, and signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of metrology. Ambassador in Colombia Zhu Jingyang attended the meeting.
