From May 24 to 29, 2026, to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of recycled fibers, a delegation from the China Fiber Quality Monitoring Center (CFQMC) paid an official visit to Spain and Sweden upon invitation.
The delegation conducted field investigations and panel discussions successively at the headquarters of Spain’s INDITEX Group and Sweden’s IKEA. Combining the systematic practical experience of the two leading multinational enterprises in the field of recycled fibers, the delegation conducted comprehensive and in-depth exchanges and discussions focusing on EU regulations and standards for recycled fibers, quality traceability, inspection and testing, as well as international cooperation. Both sides shared industrial development experience and reached consensus on cooperation.
This visit has provided valuable references for improving China’s quality standard system for recycled fibers, optimizing testing technical solutions and advancing the green and low-carbon transformation of the textile industry. Going forward, the CFQMC will continue to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, build a collaborative platform for industry, academia and research at home and abroad, and facilitate the high-quality development of the fiber and textile recycling industry.
