On September 16–17, 2026, the ECR (Efficient Consumer Response) Community Q3 Meeting 2026 was held in a hybrid format in Athens, Greece. Representatives of ECR organizations and industry experts from more than ten countries and regions, including Greece, France, Ireland, Spain, and Colombia, attended the meeting and held in-depth exchanges on innovation in the consumer goods industry and supply chain collaboration. Representatives of ANCC (ECR China) were invited to attend and give a keynote presentation.
The meeting focused on frontier trends in the global consumer goods industry and international cooperation on sustainable development, with in-depth discussions on topics such as international retail consumption trend analysis and category management network development. Participants also visited local retail stores in Athens, experiencing smart retail technology applications and an innovative pilot project for barrier-free shopping for visually impaired people, gaining firsthand insight into retail practice in the Greek market. Participants also exchanged views on retail innovation practices, and the retail innovation case submitted by ANCC was successfully included in the ECR Community's INSTORE INSIGHTS 2026.
At the meeting, the representatives of ANCC shared the progress and highlights of ECR China’s work: building exchange bridges for enterprises through market events, advancing the development of multiple industry guidelines, and conducting case collection and research in frontier areas such as AI-powered supply chain agents and green, low-carbon logistics. In terms of standards promotion, ANCC continued to align with national policy deployments to advance the application of GS1 standards, expanding full-chain supply chain coverage and promoting the implementation of "one code to the end" through measures such as promoting product barcodes and QR codes, conducting standards training, and organizing enterprise visits. Participants spoke highly of ECR China’s work.
Next, ANCC will continue to deepen cooperation with the ECR Community and relevant institutions in various countries, absorb advanced international experience, promote the digital and intelligent integration of China's consumer goods industry, and accelerate the building of an efficient, collaborative, and green production and supply chain system.
