From September 1 to 7, 2026, China Quality And Standards Publishing & Media Co., Ltd. sent delegates to Russia to participate in the 2026 Moscow International Book Fair.

During the visit, the company exhibited and promoted nearly 50 key books published in recent years. Many of the books drew numerous visitors for reading and were widely well-received. The company also took part in the China-Russia Copyright Negotiation Conference, engaging in book copyright exchanges with copyright representatives from institutions including the Publishing House of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Bombora Publishing House and HSE University, and established business contacts.

Moving forward, based on the outcomes of the copyright talks, the company will provide relevant book information to the Russian publishing institutions it met with for further communication on copyright export. In addition, it will strengthen ties and cooperation with world-renowned publishing institutions, optimize publication content and realize localized knowledge communication. It will also transform its copyright work approach, gain an accurate understanding of real demands in the international market, develop book titles and export copyrights in a targeted manner, and strive to build a diversified and comprehensive title development system as well as a complete and smooth copyright export channel system. The goal is to shift copyright export from single-book licensing to co-planning, co-publishing and global distribution. The company will further study the evolution of concepts, formats and technologies in international publishing, and explore the application of artificial intelligence technologies in book content creation, text translation, manuscript review and other links to improve publishing efficiency.

Founded in 1977, the Moscow International Book Fair is the largest and most influential comprehensive publishing event in Russia and Eastern Europe. The 2026 Moscow International Book Fair was held in Moscow, Russia from September 2 to 6, 2026. China participated as the Guest of Honour country. The Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee organized a delegation consisting of more than 60 publishing professionals and over 10 writers and scholars from 36 publishing institutions, bringing over 2,000 types of high-quality books totalling nearly 5,000 copies to the fair.
