Recently, the China-Russia antitrust agency border meeting was held in Irkutsk, Russia. The State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) was invited to attend. Representatives from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and some of its regional offices, relevant government departments of Irkutsk and other relevant agencies participated in the meeting. During the meeting, the SAMR delegation attended the China-Russia Antitrust Agency Border Cooperation Regional Seminar and the Meeting on Pharmaceutical Competition Issues, and conducted visits to a local pharmaceutical enterprise and the Irkutsk Regional Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia.

The main topics of the meeting included: national planning of competition policy, enforcement of competition policy in the regions, enforcement experience in key industries, and antitrust enforcement in border areas. During the meeting, the SAMR delegation actively spoke on the main themes of the conference, introduced specific experiences in China's antitrust enforcement, and exchanged views with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia on advancing bilateral cooperation.
