Drawing on Brazil's experience in the green transition to inform China's dual-carbon strategy, CCAI dispatched a delegation of two senior researchers to Brazil for special topic communication and consultation.

Focusing on critical areas in Brazilian agriculture, including green tech innovation, product carbon footprints, and sustainable certification, the delegation engaged with Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA), Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (ABIOVE), Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA), and the China Brazil Trade Center. Discussions focused on Brazil's policy frameworks for green and low - carbon development, carbon footprint accounting methodologies, database infrastructure, certification practices, and industry trends. Both sides exchanged insights on sustainable agricultural technologies, mutual recognition of standards and information exchanges between China and Brazil, and explored potential cooperation opportunities.

Through this visit, CCAI researchers have gained a comprehensive understanding of Brazil's practical experience in green, low-carbon, and sustainable certification development in agriculture, as well as the impact of European carbon policies on Brazil's foreign trade industry. This has laid a solid foundation for supporting the implementation of cooperation mechanisms established between China and Brazil in sustainable agriculture, food safety, and innovation, as well as connecting Brazil's ecological transformation needs with the upgrading of the Chinese consumer market, and jointly building a green value chain.
