On April 24, Luo Wen, Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of China (SAMR), met with Ms. Cani Fernández Vicién, President of the Spanish National Markets and Competition Commission.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest progress in antitrust regulation in digital economy and recent competition advocacy initiatives, and reached consensus to balance regulation with economic development, foster a sound environment to maintain a fair and competitive market order, and advance healthy, and sustainable growth of the economy.

Officials from relevant departments of the SAMR attended the meeting.
