On June 16, Luo Wen, Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of China, and U Htun Ohn, Union Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar, signed the Memorandum of Understanding Between the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China and the Myanmar Competition Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Cooperation in the Field of Competition. 

Under this MoU, both parties will share experience and technical know-how on competition policy drafting and enforcement via training, seminars and joint research, building a level playing field for bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
