On May 25, Luo Wen, Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of China, and Khalil Hashmi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to China, signed the Memorandum of Understanding Between the State Administration for Market Regulation (Certification and Accreditation Administration) of the People's Republic of Chinaand the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on Cooperation in Conformity Assessment.

The two sides will carry out cooperation including technical exchanges, training and joint study in conformity assessment to reduce technical barriers to trade in areas of mutual concern, facilitate bilateral trade, and contribute to building the China-Pakistan Community with a Shared Future.
