China and Russia Sign the Memorandum of Understanding on Anti-monopoly Enforcement and Competition Policy

On May 20, Luo Wen, Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of China, and Maxim Shaskolsky, Head of the Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation, signed the Memorandum of Understanding Between the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China and the Anti-Monopoly Service of the Russian Federation(2026-2027).

The MoU is based on an agreement between the governments of the two countries of cooperation on anti-monopoly enforcement and competition policy. It aims to promote the healthy and orderly development of the two economies. It stipulates exchange of information on anti-monopoly, anti-unfair competition and advertising, exchanges and collaboration of specific case enforcement, and cooperation between border anti-monopoly authorities.
